I just finished watching the movie “Fight Club“. Yes I know it came out years ago, I just never had desire to see it. And what I’d like to say about it is, “huh”?
I’m sorry, I feel like, for the most part, it was a waste of time. I understand the concept, of who the characters of Edward Norton and Brad Pitt were, but the ending just really left me sitting there with a big question mark over my head. You know how in cartoons and comic strips, when someone has an idea, there is a light bulb over their heads…..yeah, I could almost see the question mark floating over mine.
I like Edward Norton, and Brad Pitt, well as an actor, I don’t know, but for viewing pleasure, yes. I don’t like fighting. Even the “Rocky” movies I really like those, well, only the first 3, but some of the fighting I find difficult to watch. And yes, I know the name of the movie “Fight Club” would most certainly have fighting in it….I think it was extreme. And it amazes me that there are some people actually entertained by that. No offense to those of you who fit that bill.
Well, at any rate, now I can say that I saw it, and I never have to watch it again. Altough I really would like someone to explain why it ended the way it did, and what comes next. I don’t like movies that don’t have a clear ending…oooh like “Unfaithful” with Richard Gere and Diane Lane….that ending….hmmm…..but the movie itself was excellent!

I don’t care much for Fight Club either. I read the book and saw the movie, and I actually thought the movie was better (how unusual, right?) albeit still not that great. Also, I think it’s wonderful that you’re blogging! At this point, blogging is pretty much a hopeless endeavor for my mom. I only just caught her up on the difference between email and instant chat, and I’m not entirely convinced that she knows the difference
