Yes, it’s another tough weekend for me here in the house of “The-White-Sox-are-the-only-team-that-matters”. Although we are off to a much better start after yesterday’s spectacular win of 10-3 over the Cubs, it’s going to be tense.
Hubby is going to the game today with another die-hard fan. Here’s hoping they can experience a Sox win live and in person after witnessing the horrendous battering (no pun intended) the northsiders administered the southsiders last weekend.
Let me say, the wind may be shifting….after several days of hubby’s Soxflag (normal hanging in front of the house) laying rolled up, he put it back on display 2 days ago. His team must have felt his loyal support slowly returning, as they took on the Cubs.
I would really like to take down the black wreath hanging on our front door though…….
