Look Kids! It’s an Audi!

So let me tell ya about a stupid commercial. I believe it’s for Audi.
The scene is a nice residential street somewhere in Suburbia, USA. It’s a summer day, all the kids are out doing summer kid things, playing with the hose by the pool, playing ball, getting ice cream from the ice cream man, and I guess for effect, it’s all in slow motion. Then, “it” appears. A car, slowly driving down the streets of Suburbia, USA. And would ya believe…..all the kids stop what they’re doing, (yes, they all stop the I’m-a-kid-and-it’s-summer-all-I-want-to-do-is-have-fun activities) to look at the car going by. No, they actually gaze longingly at the car going by. And the announcer says something about”….summer has always belonged to children….but now children will have to learn to share….”
OK, so the woman is cruising around and all the kids stop and stare in awe. This is so real because this would really happen. What kid is going to pay attention to the ice cream man, or jump into the pool, when there is an Audi passing by?
Stupid.  Stupid.  Stupid.  Thank you for letting me vent.

I for one wouldn’t stop to look at a car unless the driver was giving away free phones, laptops, iTunes cards or candy.
