OK, so we are done with the first 3 games of the Crosstown Showdown.
Cubs swept. Sox pretty much sucked. I will keep the faith and hope that the sweep will be reversed next weekend when the Sox host at Comiskey Park.
Sorry, can’t bring myself to call it “US Cellular Field” I hate that. I have difficulty recalling what all these Ball Fields, Arenas, venues of all kinds are being renamed to. They are like giant ads for companies. I know something changed to Petco Field. Don’t recall what, I believe it was some baseball park. I still refer to the Rosemont Horizon and “the Horizon” not stupid “Allstate Arena“. Those business names are just not cool. Anyway…..I got off track…..yeah….ok….as I was saying…..
Being as big a Sox fan as he is, my poor hubby had a hell of a weekend. Last night, after watching the first 3 innings, he asked if I wanted to watch a movie we had rented earlier. “Over Her Dead Body” with Eva Longoria – stupid movie, but better than watching the Sox and hubby suffer through the third loss in a row….to their arch enemies. I almost felt like putting a black wreath on our front door.
It’s going to be a tough week, and a tense weekend coming up. Send me positive vibes y’all!

Its White Sox baseball, You dont know me very well.
My life is The White Sox, since 1965, ive been to over half a thousand sox games.
I eat drink breath White Sox, it’s Me simply put.
Your not into it, thats cool, you have other things to enjoy- thats cool.
