HAPPY EARTH DAY! And if I may say so, Happy Anniversary to me & my *Lobster. 7 years ago today, we began our new life together as one……yeah, yeah, yeah…. Well, actually, it is our seventh wedding anniversary. It’s lasted 5 years longer than my first marriage, so I think that’s pretty good.
*Let me explain the “Lobster” thing. When my husband and I were first dating, my sister made a remark about us being eachothers lobsters. If you are a fan of “Friends”….think back to the show when Ross & Rachel first got together. During that episode Phoebe mentioned that lobsters only have one mate for life. At the end of the show, when Rachel walked over to Ross and gave him a big old kiss, (and we knew they’d be together), Phoebe announced, “See, he’s her lobster!” My sisters lobster comment stuck, and most of the family does occasionally refer to us as lobsters. We sometimes get something with a lobster on as a gift. The latest being a lobster oven mitt & matching dish towel, cute! So happy anniversary to us!
